It's true. The standardized testing trend is stupid, meaningless, and has done nothing to improve our educational system. And yet, my experience within public school systems has shown that a ridiculous amount of valuable instruction time is spent prepping students for, proctoring, and reviewing standardized tests. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid, people!
