10th Avenue Freeze Out

We watched Wings for Wheels: The Making of  'Born to Run' tonight. I learned a few things. Actually, many things, since I haven't ever spent much time thinking about Bruce Springsteen before. But here's what stood out:

1. He was so, so young when they cut this album.
2. He was so, so earnest.
3. The line "10th Avenue Freeze Out" doesn't mean anything.
